CHARLES VÖGELE FASHION DAYS IN ZURICH, SWITZERLAND

 

The Charles Vögele fashion days in Zurich Switzerland take place from the 3rd till the 6th November 2010 for the very first time. In line of the fashion event there will be 24 Swiss and some more international designers who present their current collections: Alexander Wang, Guido Maria Kretschmer and Jason Wu are some of the top-class participants. The fashion shows are open for everyone – tickets for the single shows are available in different categories. Head sponsor Charles Vögele herald the opening night with three fashion shows: Casa Blanca, Lingerie and the “Biaggini Violett” collection developed by Penélope and Mònica Cruz.

Kaviar Gauche awards the “annabelle Award”

In line of the Charles Vögele fashion days the “annabelle Award” will be awarded for the seventh time, on 5th of November. This time by the successful German label Kaviar Gauche. The Award is addressed to the alumni of Swiss fashion schools. The winner is for one year allowed to look behind the scenes, work and learn at Kaviar Gauche. The two designers behind Kaviar Gauche, Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna Kühl, are famous for classy understatement since 2004. They create feminine avant-garde fashion and dresses with accurate elaborated details for women that want to attract sustainable attention.

Missoni – master of patterns will show up

Missoni has in the past essentially affected the aesthetics with its knitwear, now the label is pretty well known all over the world for example because of the geometric, coloured “zickzack” stripes. Today Missoni stands in the forefront of the Italian fashion and design. The show of Missoni takes place on Saturday 6th November.

To the first Charles Vögele fashion days every fashion victim is welcome. Tickets are available at www.ticketcorner.ch. The shows will take place at the erstwhile casting house, in the “Puls 5”. On the opposite side on the Turbinenplatz there will be the two-storied VIP- and sponsor tent that can contain up to 600 persons.
